Is this endothermic or exothermic and why

FeCl3 (aq) + KSCN (aq) > Fe(SCN)3 + 3KCl (aq)

Really can't tell if this is endothermic or exothermic by just looking at the reaction. One would need additional information, such as bond energies, enthalpy values, etc. to determine the thermodynamics of the reaction.
