A circle has a total of 360 degrees. The length of an arc is proportional to the ratio of the central angle of the arc to the total degre measure of a circle, 360 degrees.
So the ratio you need is 72/360, which simplifies to 1/5.
Now multiply the circumference of the circle by that ratio to find the arc length:
20 x 1/5 = 4.
Hope this helps
