Perpendicular to this lines means that we need to find the inverse slope to this line. Thus we start by finding the slope to the line that passes through these two points.
Remember, slope is rise over run: (-3 -3)/ (2- (-1)) = -6/3 = -2.
So if the slope of this line is -2, than the slope of the line perpendicular to this line is the inverse: 1/2
