Boyles Law is applicable when the temperature is constant, and states that the Pressure (P) is inversely proportional to the Volume (V). This can be written as
P = k/V
Initial conditions:
P = k1/V
k1 = PV
k1 = (3 atm)(13 L)
k1 = 39 Latm
Final conditins:
P = k2/V
k2 = PV
k2 = (6 atm)(6.5 L)
k2 = 39 Latm
Since k1 = k2 this illustrates that the gas obeys Boyles Law.
