First find the number of square feet need to be painted (area = length x width):
10 ft x 8 ft = 80 sq ft.
Determine number of gallons through units conversion:
80 sq ft x 0.25 gal = 20 gallons.
----------
sq. foot

Problem says wall is square, so are you painting 8 ft x 8 ft. or 8ft x 10 ft.? In either case, 64 sp. ft x 1/4 gal/sqft = 16 gallons. or 80 sqft x 1/4 gal/sqft= 20 gallons04/10/20
