If she wants to sow grass in a plot with half the base and half the height, she will have to pay $3,562.50. Is this reasonable? Explain.

(30)(25)($9.50) = $7,125

A plot with half the height and half the width has one-fourth the area.

That should cost (0.25)($7,125) or $1,781.25.
