If the above are the 3 vertices of a triangle.
The distance between the sides is the length of the side.
Distance is calculated by : square root of ( x2 - x1) ^2 + ( y2 - y1) ^2
considering this as base of the triangle, height is calculated by taking mid point of this base,
which is: ( x1 + x2 ) /2 + ( y1 + y2 ) /2
Then, area is calculated by : 1/2 * base * height
Distance between opposite vertex and the mid-point is the Height of the triangle.
