Build yourself a solid foundation by building your professionally, technical, soft skills, people skills and salon buisness skills, these are the most important to do first. Most commonly said is two years after becoming self employed. The next vaulble advice I know to be true is 10 satisfied clients will build your carrer! It's about communication and Unison with skill set. You can't have one without the other and this business. Regular marketing and promotional tools fail when it comes to the industry of hairdressing it definitely is built by Word of Mouth this is 100% fact in my opinion. For me personally it took about a year after becoming self-employed
