The cofunction of an angle is the compliment of the angle.
In this case the formula is:. Cot(angle) = Tan(PI/2 - angle)
Put in the values: Cot(3PI/7) = Tan(PI/2 - 3PI/7)
Use common denominator: Tan(7PI/14 - 6PI/14) = Tan(PI/14) in radians
If you convert the radians to degrees the two angles are 77.15 and 12.85 which are complimentary angles.
