1) 2tanΘ - 3 = 5
TanΘ = 4
Θ = Tan-14 = 76.0º
2) 4(cscΘ + 2) = cscΘ + 14
4CscΘ+8 = CscΘ + 14
3CscΘ = 6
CscΘ = 2 1/SinΘ =2 SinΘ = 1/2Θ
Θ = Sin-1(1/2) = 30°
3) 2sinΘ + 3 = 3(sinΘ + 1)
2SinΘ + 3 = 3SinΘ + 3
0 = SinΘ
Θ = 0°

I assumed they would ask for that. Feel free to do so.04/01/20

When you find the degrees that equals to theta, wouldn't you then find where that function is positive in which ever quadrant, then use the Reference Angle Formula to find the degrees?04/01/20
