(y-y1)=m(x-x1) Plug in known values
(y-5)=1/2(x-(-6)) Simplify
(y-5)=1/2(x+6) Distribute
y-5=1/2x+3 Add 5 to both sides
y-5+5=1/2x+3+5 Simplify
