There are a couple ways to solve this problem. One is more with using a formula, and the other is using logic. I personally like the logic based one, so let me explain:
If A is at (6,7) and you are traveling to B (whose coordinates are unknown), you know that halfway is M at (7,2). So, figure out what you did to get from point A to point M.
You must have traveled 1 unit to the right, and 5 units down to go from (6,7) to (7,2).
As M is exactly halfway between A and B, you can repeat those steps from point M and you should wind up at point B.
So from M (7,2) if you travel 1 unit right and 5 units down, you wind up at B (8, -3).
