Ok if you can buy student tickets for $4 and adult tickets also for $4 but u buy 5 tickets and spend 20 how would u write that in an equation if the number of students represents x and adults y to the amount spent

Adult Tickets: $4 -------- call these ticket y

First Equation for total number of tickets:

5 = x + y

Second Equation for total cost:

$20 = $4x + $4y
