Fractions is simplest terms

1. Which of the following describes mixed number A b/c in simplest form such that Abc = 8?

B) 5/6+5/6+5/6

D) 1/4+3/4+3/4

I am hoping for some understanding of HOW to approach a problem such as this.

The multipal answers are all fractions. A mixed fraction is 1 1/2; 2 5/8; etc.

I want to mention a fraction is another way to write a division problem.

1 divided by 2=1/2

36 " " 6=36/6=6

I just realized; after finding the sums above; all of them can be mixed fractions.

A) becomes 9/5=1 4/5.
