I have taught Algebra 1 every year of my 30+ year teaching career.
You are correct!! Every x needs EXACTLY 1 y. So if they give you ordered pairs, just look for repeating x's.

asked 03/12/20(A) (1,2) (2,3) (3,2)
(B) (1,1) (2,-1) (-1,2) (-2,-2)
(C) (0,0) (3,0) (-3,0)
(D) (1,1) (2,2) (3,3) (2,-1)
(E) None of these
For this I got; (D) (1,1) (2,2) (3,3) (2,-1). Is this the correct answer?
