1/2 x 5.8 x 11.2

=1/2 x 64.96

=32.48 square inches

the picture of the triangle is definitely not to scale. The base looks longer than the height, yet 11.2 is almost twice 5.8. but even if there were a typo or they were mixed up, it doesn't matter for calculating the area.

whether h=11.2 and b=5.8 or h=5.8 and b=11.2 the area is the same, either way

since (1/2)(11.2)(5.8) = (1/2)(5.8)(11.2) either one = 32.48 square inches
