We see that vinegar is simply acetic acid dissolved in water. If we have 27.2mL of acetic acid and a total solution of 145mL then our volume percent is simply the ratio of volume acetic acid over volume of total solution x 100%
27.2mL / 145mL x 100% = 18.76%
