Translate triangle ABC. Translate triangle ABC using this rule: (x,y) turns into (x-8,y+5)
Pre-image points: A(1.-4), B(2,-1) and C(6,-4)
How will this coordinate rule move our figure ?
What are the new image points ?
Was this transformation isometric ?

The rule moves the image 8 units to the left (x - 8) and 5 units up (y + 5).
A' = (1 - 8, -4 + 5)
B' = (2 - 8, -1 + 5)
C' = (6 - 8, -4 + 5)
Yes, the translation, a slide, is isometric (the same is maintained).

I drew it. Side c=5 (given 6-1). Side a=3^2+1^2=c^2=10^.5=3.162.............=side a (original).
a^2+b^2=c^2 so 25-10=15^.5=3.872.......=b (original).
Area=ab/2=(3.16*3.87)/2=6.11
I don't know what to do with the figures you translate.
