Assume Fridah and Glenn's ages TODAY are F and G respectively.
It is given that
F + G = 110
You are given that when they met 15yrs ago, Fridah was 3 times as old as Glenn.
So first subtract 15 yrs from each of their present ages and write the equation
F - 15 = 3 * (G - 15)
Solve these equations by substitution to obtain F and G. You should find
F= 75 yrs
G= 35 yrs
