A block is pulled at 20° by a 45N. Solve for the magnitude of the force, F and the mass of the block if all forces are in equilibrium.
2. The block is pulled at 25° by 30N forces left and right, but not in equilibrium and it will slide across a table. Solve F and support force S if all forces are in the equilibrium.

The Force that is pulling the block (assuming no friction)
F = 30 × cos(25o) = 30(0.906) = 27.18 N
If the forces are in equilibrium, then S = F = 27.18 N
