Donna has read 3/8 of the book in her library is she reads another 2/8 of the books this summer what fraction of her book will she have read by the end of the summer?

To help you understand, as long as two fractions have the same number under the / (the denominator) you can simply add the top numbers ( the numerators) or do any other arithmetic with them that you need to.

You add together 2/8 and 3/8 and it equals 5/8, so she would have read 5/8 of the books in the library.
