Graph the function g(x)=-2x-3

i dont know where to graph this question on a graph can you please tell me where to graph this on the graph

The simplest way to graph such simple equations is to get some points then draw a line.

so you give a few values for X and solve for Y { or g(x) } Examples:

if we say X = 0 then Y= -2(0)-3 = -3. so the point is (0,-3) dot that on the graph and get more points

if X= 2 then Y = -2(2)-3 = -4-3= -7 so (2 ,-7)

if X = -2 then Y = -2(-2)-3 = 4-3= 1 (-2, 1)

These are enough, since this will be a straight line, but you can get more points if you'd like.

Now on the graph mark (0,-3) , (2,-7), & (-2,1) then connect them and extend the line on either side. You have your graph :)
