multiply both sides by sin^(1/2x)
(sin^(1/2x))(sin(-1/2x)(cosx)=(cotx)(√sinx)(sin^(1/2x))
sin^(1/2x)=√sinx
cosx=(cosx/sinx)(sinx)
cosx=cosx
