use the formula (n-2)(180) to determine the sum of all of the angles in the hexagon, or any other polygon
n=the number of sides of the polygon
(6-2)(180)=4*180=720°
since all of the angles are equal divide 720 by 6
720/6=120° is the measure of each angle

The key to this problem is to realize that a regular hexagon is one where all the sides and all of the angles are the same (equilateral and equiangular). This is what "regular" means for any polygon.
So knowing that:
A hexagon has 6 sides and 6 angles,
The sum (total) of all of these angles is 720 degrees (if you ever cannot remember how many degrees are in a polygon, divide it into smaller shapes, for example a hexagon can be divided into four triangles. All triangles have 180 degrees. So 4 x 180 = 720 total degrees in a hexagon)
All of the angles are exactly the same
This should be enough information to solve the problem. If you are still confused, just comment below and I will take it a step further and good luck!

It is much easier to realize that the sum of the EXTERIOR angles add to 360 degrees (the "Turtle" in Logo Graphics turns a full circle). Each INTERIOR angle is the supplement of 360/6=60. So, it is 120 degrees.01/10/20
