1,5 Liters is 1.500 mL. If you want to split it evenly, each glass will have 750 mL. 750=π(6/2)^2 x ?. Our height will be ?. Simplifying, 750=π(3)^2 x ?. 750=9π x ?. That comes across as over 20 cm which is certainly not 5 and would overflow the glass.

The 7 glasses hold pi*3^2*(10.5) cm^3 each. Their total volume is 7*296.8805 = 2078.164 cm^3.
The volume of the soda is 1.5 liters = 1500 cm^3.
The fraction of the glass volume that will be full is 1500/2078.164 or .722. That is NOT 5/7 but close.

Sorry, I was not clear. The boys had 1 glass each. I need the answer in fraction. My math book says the answer is 5/7. Five seventh part of each glass is filled.01/10/20
