Are those all the options you have for answers? I believe in this example, the domain for f'(x) would stay the same as the domain of f(x) as all real numbers work for all pieces of f'(x).
However, when stating the problem it stays "equals x squared for x between 3 and 5 inclusive" I am taking that as you meaning 3<= x <= 5 -- so inclusive applies both to 3 and 5, not just 5. If that is not what you meant, and you were saying that it is only including 5, e.g. 3< x <= 5, then that non inclusion of 3 would be the same for f'(x) in which case the answer would be Option #2.
