You want to removing & replace the tile in the kitchen. Removal cost is $450, price of the new tile (including installation) is $11/sq.ft. If you can only purchase tile in one square foot increments. determine the cost of removing and replacing the tile. 

Dimentions: height:16.5ft, Width-24.333ft 

Other regions in the kitchen are; a rectangle (3 by 2ft) and a triangle (2 by 2ft). area of the triangle being 1/2 1x1. A counter that is 4.043ft by 6.95ft

Area of Floor = 16.5 x 24.33 = 401.45

Area of Rectangle = 3 x 2 = 6.0

Area of Triangle = (1/2)(2 x 2) = 2.0

Area of Counter = 4.043 x 6.95 = 28.10

Total area = 437.55

Since you can only buy tiles in one square foot pieces, you can't buy 0.55 of a tile so you have round up and buy 438 tiles. Cost = 438 x $11 + $450
