b) How long does she fly through the air (to the nearest tenth of a second)?

c)When does she reach her maximum height?

a) 2 = initial height

b) h(t) = -.2t^2 +6t +2 = 0

divide by -.2

t^2 -30t -10 = 0

t= 30/2 +.5sqr(900+40) =15 +.5sqr940 = 30.33 seconds

= about 30.3 seconds

c) t=6/.4 = 15 seconds

when h'=0

about half the time in the air

Had intial height = 0, it would have been exactly half
