Holiday eggnog contains 1 cup of bourbon. The bourbon used to make the eggnog was 45.00% by volume alcohol. What volume of alcohol must be present to produce a 45.00% by volume concentration in a 750.0 mL bottle of bourbon?

45.00% alcohol by volume means 45 mls alcohol / 100 mls = 0.45 mls alcohol / ml

0.45 mls alc / ml x 750 mls = 337.5 mls alcohol
