Probably the easiest way to find this probability is to adjust the denominator to the newly narrowed sample space. If it is given that you rolled am even number, then the number of allowable possible rolls is 3 (2, 4, 6). Of these 3, only one is considered a success (rolling a 2). So the probability is 1/3.
