So from Mark's analysis, PL = 325,270 ft. Divide by 5,280 to get miles = 61.6 mi. Then divide this by the speed of 450 mi/hour to get 0.137 hours. Finally, multiply by 60 min/hour to get 8 minutes.

Draw and label a diagram!
P is the location of the plane
G is the location of the ground below the plane
L is the location of the landing
∠mPLG = 6°
sin 6° = 34000 / PL
Solve for PL.
PL / 450 is the answer?
