-An electron can move from an allowed high energy orbital to an allowed low energy orbital if it absorbs energy that exactly equals the energy difference between those two orbitals would be a false statement, because to move from a high energy orbital to a low energy orbital, the electrons would NOT ABSORB energy, but would EMIT ENERGY equal to the difference between the two orbitals.
