If this is a right triangle, where bc is hypotenuse, then
bc^2 = ab^2 + ac^2
10^2 = 6^2 + ac^2
ac^2 = 64
ac = 8
There is a short cut also, such triangles are also called 3-4-5 triangles, where 5 is the hypotenuse. Since we are given 10 and 6 (2*5 and 2*3), then the missing side is 8 (2*4).
