Picture this problem in your head. Start at the origin of a coordinate-plane graph. Go up 5 and right 1. Draw a line from this point back to the origin, It slants to the right so it's positive. Its perpendicular will be negative
and slant to the left. The rule is opposite sign and a reciprocal, which you make by putting a 1 over the original
number. So the perpendicular of a slope of 5 is -1/5 or -0.20.
