Valeria bought 1 orange, 1 melon, and a kilo of mangoes. Her total cost was $190 dollars. The price of the orange was $20 dollars less than the price of the melon. And the price of the Melon was three times more than the price of the mangoes. What was the price of each fruit?

X+Y+Z = 190

X=Y-20

Y = 3Z

then X = 3z-20

3z-20 + 3z + z = 190

7z - 20 = 190

7z = 210

z = 30

the kilo of mangoes cost 30

the melon costs 90

the orange costs 70

these fruits are expensive...unless you meant cents instead of dollars
