When two lines intersect at right angles, they are said to be perpendicular. Any line or line segment that cuts another line segment into two equal parts (divides it in half) is called a bisector. Therefore, a line that divides another in half and intersects the other at right angles is a perpendicular bisector.
a transversal is a line that crosses two other lines. WHen the other two lines are parallel, the angles formed by the lines and transversal have special relationships.
an intersector is a computer science term and doesn't apply to lines. an intersection is where two lines cross.
