you should plug in the points (-5,7) and (6,3)
The midpoint is going to be located in the middle of the 2 horizontal coordinated (x values) and in the middle of the 2 vertical coordinates (y values). The middle of 2 coordinates is found by taking their average. The horizon average is (-5 + 6)/2 = 1/2. The vertical average is (7 + 3)/2 = 5. So the midpoint is located at (1/2, 5).
