Hi Amulya,

 

You can do log(6^x)=log(11).

 

log(6^x) is equal to=> x*log(6).

 

We can replace  log(6^x) with x*log(6).

 

We get:

 

X*log(6)=log(11)   so the answer would be x=(log(11)/log(6))= 1.33

Hi Amulya,

                  This may not be the answer you are looking for but one way to find x in 6^x=11 is to plot a graph of y=6^x for several values of x and then plot, on the same graph, y=11 and find the value of x where the two functions intersect.
