If the two angles are A and B, and they are complements, then A + B = 90. But A is 6 degrees less than B so A + 6 = B
Since B = A + 6, we can plug "A + 6" into the first equation wherever we see B, so:
A + (A + 6) = 90
2A + 6 = 90
2A = 84
A = 42
Then since B = A + 6, B = 42 + 6 = 48
The two angles are 42° and 48°
