Do you mean y = -3.7x + 4.2?
If you mean the y-intercept, then plug in 0 for x and solve for y, because x is always 0 on the y-axis.
So y = -3.7x + 4.2 - 0 + 4.2 = 4.2
If you mean the x-intercept, then plug in 0 for y, because y is always 0 on the x-axis.
So 0 = -3.7x + 4.2
3.7x = 4.2
