1) Given the opposite sides are parallel, there are 2 right angles.
then x+(x-50) = 180.
2x - 50 = 180
2x = 230
x = 115
So 90, 90, 115, 65
2) the angles are equal, so 3x-10 = x+40
2x - 10 = 40
2x = 50
x = 25
so the angle is 3(25)-10 = 75-10 = 65 = 25+40
3) adjacent angles are supplementary
5x+4x = 180
9x = 180
x = 20, so 100 and 80
4) 3p-6 = 90
3p = 96
p= 32
5) w=20 by alternate interior angles
x=87 by alternate interior angles
v=42 by alternate interior angles
the angles in the center are then 51 and 129
then w + 129 + y = 180 in the top triangle
20 + 129 + y = 180
149 + y = 180
y = 31
