Well, Let's have some fun with this...
the perimeter is 2(1/3) + 2(1/4)
= 2/3+2/4
= 2/3+1/2
= 4/6 + 3/6
= 7/6
Multiplies by 4:
7/6 * 4 = 28/6 = 14/3
So 14/3 MILES of wire is needed !!!
4 and 2/3 miles of wire is needed
That is the answer to the question....
=======================================================
The Home Depot sells barbed wire for $70 per roll and
each roll contains 1320 feet, and that is the CHEAP stuff!
1 mile = 5280 feet
4 and 2/3 miles = (4 and 2/3) * 5280
= 14/3 * 5280
= 14* 5280/3
= 14 * 1760
= 24640 feet
24640/1320 = 18 and 2/3 rolls are needed
18 and 2/3 * $70 = $1306.67
