Hi Rahul, the perimeter of a rectangle can be found using: P = 2L + 2W, where P is the perimeter, L is the length, and W is the width.
Given:
L = 2W
Rewrite equation using only W:
P = 2 * (2W) + 2W
Substitute for P and find W:
4W + 2W = 3 * 13.7
6W = 41.1
Divide by 6:
W = 6.85
The width is 6.85
