Do they use the same tactics as Republicans are accused of, or are they different?Examples: - closing of specific polling places not likely to vote for their party - requiring specific IDs less likely to be owned by minorities - purging voter registrations of specific demographics - keeping voter registrations of specific demographics on hold - misinforming specific demographics about voting location or time.

The easiest way to see the same tactics being used by Democrats to engage in voter suppression is to look at the boundaries within major cities. Major urban cities are hubs for Democratic politicians, and thus the same and/or similar tactics are used. For example, the gerrymandering of congressional districts in the city of Chicago are used specifically in ethnic communities to ensure Democratic success despite the boundaries illogical explanation. Some districts take control of major streets, and just the street, because of the businesses that work there. Republican candidates have little chance to flip a district with boundaries that ensure Democratic control.
