The length of a rectangle is 6 feet more than its width, and the perimeter o the rectangle is 40 feet. What is the length of the rectangle?

Perimeter = 2 * length + 2 * width

40 = 2 L + 2w

40 = 2 ( w+6) + 2w

40 = 2w + 12 + 2w

40 = 4w + 12

28 = 4w

w=7

Length = 13 , width = 7
