When presenting, what tricks do you use to read a room and turn it to your advantage?

First work the room by shaking hands, sitting with, talking to and making yourself likable to your audience. Do this before any presentation starts. Once your presentation starts, smile, wave to your new friends. If you make a mistake, turn it into a sef=depreciating joke shared with your audience etc. Arthur M.
