If you look at the expression 2sin2x + 5sinx + 2 you'll notice that we can factor it as (2sinx + 1)(sinx + 2)
Now, the graph of y = 2sinx + 1 has a period of 2π
Similarly, the graph of y = sinx + 2 has a period of 2π
Since the graph of y = (2sinx + 1)(sinx + 2) just multiplies the y - values from both graphs the period remains unchanged. and therefore, the period is still 2π.
