Let an Ivy League Ph.D. help you craft the perfect college essay
Hi Gabriella,
There is no passing or failing grade on the SAT. The test is used by colleges to get a standardized way of comparing students. The difficulty of classes can fluctuate a lot from school to school, so the SAT allows comparison across schools. High schools do not typically require a certain score to graduate. In fact, most high schools do not even require students to take the SAT at all.
