Hi!
My first suggestion is to make sure YOU are pumped up about your project or job. Enthusiasm is contagious. Second, think about what field you are in or the project you are working on, and help them appreciate the benefits to them and to others. You can use money as a motivation, but try to find something that appeals to their sense of goodwill or their passions. I think you'd get farther that way. With your job's objectives and employees' motivators in mind, search online for phrases that motivate you personally and fire you up, and that will appeal to your employees. Are your students fans of humor? Do they all like a particular TV show or movie? Use these interests in your favor as well. Then test what you find on one or two and see what they say. I wish you success!
