Homework, Writing, and Editing
In language learning, we pick up new vocabulary by hearing it in multiple settings, reading it on paper, and using it in conversation. A great place to start increasing your English vocabulary is reading good writers. If you're interested in writing a specific genre, it's a good idea to pick some quality literature from that genre. Then, try writing. Once you've written something, ask for feedback: ask friends, family, and teachers to review and revise your writing. You'll only get better as you saturate your mind with good vocabulary and then put it into practice through writing.
